

Celebration of Life services for Ms. Nora Fair, of Monticello, will be Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., at the Mt. Wade Baptist Church in Epps, Louisiana. Pastor John McCottrey officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Wade Baptist Church Cemetery.

Nora Mae Fair was born on October 20, 1956, to Edward and Rosie Mae Fair. From the moment she entered the world, she was a vibrant and spirited child who brought immense love and joy to her family. As the second of nine siblings, she played a significant role in helping to raise her younger brothers and sisters. Nora developed a deep love for the Lord early in her life and was baptized in her youth. Throughout her life, she nurtured a personal relationship with God.
Her education began in the public schools of East Carroll Parish and the surrounding areas. Nora dedicated herself to her family as a homemaker. She had a passion for reading, a love for travel, and a deep connection to her family, always staying true to herself.

Nora is preceded in death by her parents: Edward and Rosie Mae Fair; her son: Tierre G. Fair; sisters: Mary Fair and Josephine Fair; brother: Charles G. Everett, along with several cherished nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her brothers: (USA, Retired) Major Edward L. (Ethel) Fair of San Antonio, Texas; James Fair of San Antonio, Texas, and Edward Charles Fair of Las Vegas, Nevada. She also leaves behind her sisters: Lula (Cornelius) Lee of Prairieville, Louisiana; Kathy (Christopher) Smith of Jackson, Mississippi; and a loving host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends who will forever cherish her memory.
