Ronald Beal, Jr., better and lovingly known as: "Hud", "Ron" and "Big Ron," was born on April 17, 1973 in Fairfield, California.  He lived most of his life in Bossier City, Louisiana, and was the son of Ronald and Valerie Beal.

"Hud" graduated from Airline High School and proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He was an accomplished photographer.  Under his business name of, "Beautiful Soul Photography", his photo creations received much praise.  He even received the Southern Hospitality Magazine award for Best New Photographer in 2012.

"Hud" played pool for fun, but was a skilled player in the local APA League. He loved music, and his joy was being a karaoke DJ.  He was also a talented singer and dancer.  He could really rev up crowds with his enthusiasm and energy.

He was a kind, polite, and giving man.  If he considered you his friend, you were a friend for life.  He was compassionate, and often giving money to wanting people, when he had very little for himself.  Hud would stop to compliment folks he saw, especially if they had an unusual tattoo, creative hairstyle or beautiful eyes.  He loved to entertain people, build up their confidence and help them see the beauty he saw in them.  He would encourage everyone by saying “Don’t try, Do.”  Whatever was said to Ron in confidence remained confidential.  He never had a personal or negative opinion about anyone, and he was a great defender to all.  If you asked Hud anything, rest assured you didn’t have to ask twice; it was done. His life was full of challenges, but he tried faithfully to not have them affect others.  When asked how he was fairing, he would say, “I’m good,” and smile.

Sadly, Ronald, aka "Hud", "Ron", and "Big Ron", left us and departed this life on August 23, 2026.

Hud leaves to cherish his memories his parents: Ronald and Valerie Beal; sisters: Ebony Collins (Forest) and Sonya Robinson; daughters: Sarena Beal Price (Patrick) and Jaide Beal; partner for life: Teri Harwell; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
