Open Visitation for Ms. Leora Thomas, 32, of Prairieville, Louisiana, will be held Friday, January 8, 2021, from 12 noon- 4 p.m., in the Chapel of Winnfield Funeral Home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She will be interred in the St. John Baptist Church Cemetery in Clinton, Louisiana. COVID restrictions will be enforced. Masks/face coverings must be worn at all times, while in the building.

Leora Ur'leakia Thomas was born on October 5, 1988, in Zachary, Louisiana, to parents Leo and Lula Thomas. She professed her faith in Christ at an early age and was baptized at Bethany Church in Baker Louisiana. She attended primary school at Jehovah Jireh Christian Academy and Dutchtown High School, graduating in 2006. She attended Baton Rouge Community College and graduated with her Licensed Practical Nurse degree. After graduation, she became employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse for Fresenius Medical Care in Baker, Louisiana.
Leora entered eternal rest on Sunday, December 27, 2020, and was preceded in death by her biological Father: Leo Thomas; Brother: Troy Williams, Sr.; Grandmothers: Ora Lee and Rosie Mae Fair, and Grandfathers: Edward Fair and Samuel Bolton.
Leora leaves to cherish her memories: Daughter: Alyson D. Beauchamp; Son: Landon C. Thomas; Mother: Lula Lee; Father: Cornelius Lee, Sr.; Sisters: Ca’Rhonda (Jermaine) Collins of Spring, Texas; Kenya (Terry) Smith of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Keontia (Corey) Bell-Walker of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Brothers: Cornelius (Charlie) Lee, Jr. of Chicago, Illinois and Gerald Williams of Galveston, Texas; Nieces: La’Odicea Duplantier, Brandi Forbes, Ja’Maya Winters, Shanice Williams, Ja’Myria Williams, Kalaiyah Walker, Ka’Lhani Walker and Kailey Walker; Nephews: Jeremy Fair, Micheal Duplantier, Bennie Forbes III, Corinth Duplantier; Terry L.
