Funeral Services for Coach Dexter Long will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Vivian, Louisiana. Interment will follow in the Antioch Cemetery in Rodessa, Louisiana. Open Visitation will be held Monday, December 21, 2020, from 12 noon-4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Washington's & Smith's Paradise Funeral Home-Vivian.

 

COVID restrictions are enforced. Masks/cloth coverings must be worn at all times, social distancing of at least 6 feet and the capacity of the Church will be limited to 150 people.

Coach "D" was a Pillar in the community of Vivian and he loved North Caddo High School. He was a father to all who knew him and sometimes was the only father some kids knew. He was a dedicated Coach who expected the best out of every person he coached, because he gave his all as an athlete and was one of the best in the history of Louisiana.  Coach "D" will truly be missed.
